Pinoycards

Pinoycards is one of the members of the Pinoymail family. This is a local company which aims to provide the best Pinoy services in the internet.

Like any other e-greeting site, you can send cards to friends and family from here. The best thing is that Pinoycards features artworks from renowned and upcoming local artists and illustrators. Of course, Pinoy culture, current events and humor is relevant in the themes of the e-greetings, you may not get what's it all about if you're not Pinoy. But this is really a wonderful -- and perhaps patriotic -- way for Pinoys to get in touch.

My film teacher said that filmmakers nowadays should never underestimate the intelligence of its audience. People already know a lot about "movie magic", and probably a lot of things don't escape their notice.

This is especially evident in this comprehensive site on -- what else? -- movie mistakes. The movies listed are mostly on Hollywood films. It has listings for mistake-filled movies and worst movie mistakes. New releases aren't spared, either! I guess as soon as people see the latest movie and see even one mistake, they contribute it to the site. I'm also assuming the reason why the site has gotten so detailed is because of all the people who contribute.

I really enjoy this site since a) I like films; b) I can get really meticulous and be a perfectionist, and I expect that from multi-million budgeted movies, too; and c) because other times I enjoy laughing at other people's mistakes. Maybe you will, too!

The Smoking Gun

This is one of the most interesting sites ever. It's mostly a document archive of the cool, confidential and quirky whatever! It claims to use authentic material collected from the government, law sources and court files. There is also an entertainment section where you can find out what celebrities have backstage.

Like did you know industrialist band Nine Inch Nails request a juicer for their dressing room?!? Apparently, like Pearl Jam, they're also among the juicing celebrities.
