Of course, I became aware of this actor through the movie The 13th Warrior. He played the leader Buliwyf. Actually the "Viking" I kept an eye on was one of his followers played by Dennis Storhøi. The sole reason I suddenly got a fixation for Vladimir was when I slept the whole day recently and I had a really long dream. In it I dreamt I was a guardian of these magical pools but other people didn't believe it and scorned me. However, Vladimir was the only one who believed. He was a knight and he protected me. Then I woke up...
And of course, I looked him up in the Internet. Isn't it interesting that he speaks four languages? I think The 13th Warrior is his biggest movie to date because I have no idea what the other movies he was in were! But among his television appearances, he has been in MacGyver (way back in '85!), Booker, Highlander and X-files. I would really want to see those MacGyver episodes he was in. This show was one of my favorites then and we siblings never failed to watch it. I would also want to know what Booker episode that was! If this was the Booker show of Richard Grieco, well, I also faithfully watched this show because Grieco was among my teenage fantasies.
Anyway, I hope Vladimir gets to be in another movie soon. The sites I've visited listed The 13th Warrior as his last/latest movie, and that was way back 1999 -- too long a wait for his fans.
